Easter Egg Contest Winner!
We Have a Winner! Congratulations to Stephen Wallace of Helsinki, Finland who won the Learn FileMaker Pro 16 Easter Egg Hunt and is awarded a $50 Amazon Gift Card!
Stephen noticed an issue with the result of the Base64Encode function example on page 344. The example shows an encoded result value of “aHR0cHM6Ly95b3V0dS5iZS9kUXc0dzlXZ1hjUQ==”. However, when decoded using the Base64Decode function, that value doesn’t actually contain the “Hello World” text shown being encoded in the example. Instead, it returns the following YouTube URL: https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ. That’s right, the book contains a hidden classic #RickRoll prank. The picture below shows the location of the Easter egg.
Take a look in your copy of the book, decode the result and see it for yourself. If you don’t own a copy of the book, click here to learn more or purchase a copy today using the links in the sidebar >>>
